Any news on the Star Wars Resort?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Patricia! You sound excited for your trip to a galaxy far, far away when Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge opens up this year at Walt Disney World Resort. Plans were announced for a Star Wars resort hotel at the D23 Expo in 2017, and while it is still under development, we learned some new information about it in 2018.

In spring of last year, it was announced that the Star Wars resort hotel will be located adjacent to Disney's Hollywood Studios with a direct entrance into Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge for resort hotel guests. Since we also learned that staying at the resort hotel will be an immersive, multi-day experience, this exclusive entrance will make for a seamless transition via launch pod to Black Spire Outpost on the planet Batuu! We also saw some artists' renderings of what the rooms at the Star Wars-inspired resort hotel will look like, and learned that every room will have a view into outer space. With guests also participating in a storyline that unfolds around them throughout their stay, its sure to be a stand-out experience at Walt Disney World Resort.

For more information on the Star Wars-inspired resort hotel, as well as all the updates on Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, be sure to check the Disney Parks Blog

    Have a magical day, Patricia!

Meet the Panelist: Jessica, Texas

I'm a personal stylist and I live in Texas with my husband and our two rescue animals. We are Disney-obsessed and love enjoying all the magic that's out there especially for grown-ups. In fact, we even opted-out of a tropical honeymoon to spend a blissful week at Walt Disney World instead! I'm thrilled to be on the Disney Parks Moms Panel and I'm excited to share everything I've learned from all of our trips and help you plan a memorable family vacation.  Learn More About Jessica
