With new stroller rule, which is effective 5/1/2019, can I still bring Uppababy Vista stroller at Disneyland Park, CA? Based on product description, it is well within limit but not sure how Disney defines/measures width and length.

Hi there, Jaegak, and thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It’s always a good idea to “Know Before You Go,” so I’m glad you're checking on your stroller size before making your trip to the Happiest Place on Earth!

That’s right, effective May 1, 2019, the maximum size of a stroller allowed into the Disneyland Resort changed to 31” wide x 52” long. I'm happy to report that most single and double strollers still fit within the new guidelines. When checking the size of your stroller, you’ll want to measure at the widest and longest points of the stroller. A great way to test your stroller size is to measure out a rectangular box on the floor with tape, to the size of 31” x 52”. Then, try fitting your stroller inside of the box. If it fits, you should be good to go! This is actually similar to how stroller sizes are being checked at the Resort – there are rectangular boxes painted onto the floor near security checkpoints for this same purpose.

I checked the UPPAbaby website, and it appears that the measurements should fit just fine within the new Disneyland Resort parameters. But, since some strollers can create different configurations, I think it’s always best to double check yourself to be sure!

Since you have a little Mouseketeer, I recommend getting familiar with the Baby Care Centers, found at both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. These Centers offer a great spot to feed, change, or nurse babies and toddlers. You can even purchase baby necessities, from diapers to wipes to formula. And, for preschoolers, you will also find tiny toilets available for potty-training. As a mom of three children under the age of 8, the Baby Care Centers have been our “home away from home” on many theme-park visits!

Wishing you many magical adventures at the Disneyland Resort!

My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A.
