With the new PhotoPass+ One Week at Disneyland, is there any advantage to pre-ordering like there was with the old PhotoPass+? Also, do you still have the special card and lanyard that you have to use to get your ride photos added?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Shannon. I'm glad you've stopped by with your questions for us.I'm excited for your trip to the Disneyland Resort coming up really soon!

Disney PhotoPass Service is an easy and convenient way to capture magical vacation memories with everyone in your family. I'm usually the family photographer, and unless it's a blurry selfie, it's tough to get everyone in for a decent group photo. Thanks to numerous Disney PhotoPass photographers available throughout Disneyland Resort, we're able to capture all the priceless moments.

Unlike in the past, there aren't any discounts for pre-purchasing Disney PhotoPass products before your arrival. You're welcome to purchase before your trip, however you can purchase Disney PhotoPass+ One Week during or even up to 45 days after your photos are taken. By linking your PhotoPass card(s) to the Disneyland Resort mobile app, you can view your gallery right from your smartphone.

Mom's Tip: Keep in mind that Disneyland Resort doesn't utilize MagicBands like the parks do in Walt Disney World Resort. In order to include attraction photos to your Disney PhotoPass, you'll need to manually add these. Be sure to take a quick screen shot of the unique photo ID or jot that down somewhere to add your fun attraction photos. (There's no special card and lanyard available.)

I hope this information is helpful for you, Shannon. I wish you and your family a most magical time at the Happiest Place on Earth. Please visit us on the Panel again if you have further questions.

    Have a splendid day,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

I am a wife and mother to 2 children, a 14 year old daughter and 9 year old son. I have always enjoyed going to Disneyland Resort as a child and now that I am a mother, I love watching my children experience Disneyland Resort through their eyes. It is a true delight seeing my daughter wear a ball gown walking side by side with Cinderella or my son jumping gleefully after he defeated Darth Maul in a light saber duel! Learn More About Kiki
