Hello! Me and my new husband are planning to take our first trip to Disneyworld in spring of 2013,we have no children. This is our first trip ever so we really unsure of how to go about things,I was hoping for some helpful tips before and after we leave.

    Hi Leslie!

Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel!

There is so much to think about when planning a first trip - it is also such an exciting time!

Are you planning to stay at one of the Disney Resort hotels?  If so, you might like to consider which theme park you would like to be closest to, or which type of hotel would suit you.  There are three categories - Deluxe, Moderate and Value, and they all have their own charm and style, and there is something to suit every budget.
You may then consider making some advance dining reservations - some of the restaurants at Walt Disney World become booked up very quickly.  All reservations can be made up to 180 days in advance, either online, or by calling (407) 939 3463.
If you stay at a Disney Resort hotel, you receive many exclusive benefits, including Extra Magic Hours at the parks (entry to the park an hour before normal opening time, or several hours after closing), use of the Disney Transportation System around Walt Disney World, complimentary transport from Orlando International Airport on Disney's Magical Express, among other things.

I would love to help you plan your first magic vacation - I am limited for space here, so if you would like to send me a direct question, with more details about the type of place you would like to stay at, or the dining you would be interested in, and any theme park questions, I would be happy to help!
