how will the new early entrance for magic kingdom welcome affect Disney Early Morning Magic - Fantasyland. I was going to purchase tickets but want to make sure its still worth it

Hello Michelle! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Early Morning Magic - Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom is an excellent way to experience a trio of attractions and a sumptuous feast at Pinocchio Village Haus before the park officially opens. It's like snagging extra Fastpasses for busy attractions that allow you to focus your scheduled Fastpass+ selections on other busy rides to help you maximize your time for the rest of your day at Magic Kingdom.

When Guests partaking in Early Morning Magic arrive at the front gates they are given a sticker that (along with their regular ticket or MagicBand) indicates they are participating in the Special Event and admitted. In Fantasyland, Cast Members allow Guests with stickers onto the attractions and in for breakfast at Pinocchio Village Haus. The only other Guests allowed into Fantasyland before the park opens are those with Advanced Dining Reservations to Be Our Guest Restaurant, however, without the sticker they cannot enjoy the Early Morning Magic - Fantasyland activities.

The new opening show at Magic Kingdom, Let the Magic Begin, is a short show that signals the official opening of the park and lasts roughly 5 minutes. While it varies by day, Guests are granted admittance onto Main Street U.S.A. to make their way up to Cinderella castle for the show between 10-25 minutes before the show begins. The only affect that it should have is congestion on Main Street, U.S.A. If you have arrived before this time, you have already bypassed this congestion and Guests are usually held for "rope drop" which keeps them from entering Fantasyland until the park officially opens.

    Have a Magical Morning!
