What is new at Disney? Also any suggestions for Teens (they will both be 13)? Also can you tell me if we will get the magic bands or if we will have the paper tickets?

    Mary,

As Walt Disney so famously said, "We keep moving forward, opening new doors and doing new things, because we're curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths." There is always something new at Disney, but the most exciting change is the transition of Downtown Disney to Disney Springs. I just visited last week and the transformation is amazing.

Disney just unveiled a first look at Frozen Ever After, their new attraction at Epcot which is scheduled to open in 2016. And speaking of Frozen, if you are visiting Walt Disney World Resort this summer, Frozen Summer Fun begins at Disney's Hollywood Studios on June 17 and runs through September 7.  Lots of chilly summer fun for the whole family.

To keep abreast of all the excitement at the Walt Disney World Resort, you may want to subscribe to the Disney Parks Blog. Anything and everything happening at the resort is announced here.

Disney has a special section for planning trips with teens that will surely earn you the Mother of the Year award with your children. You will find resorts, parties and attractions geared to this age group.

If you are staying at a Walt Disney World resort, you will be receiving Magic Bands which will allow you to link your tickets, room reservations, Fast Pass + selections and dining reservations with just the click of a mouse. Be sure to download the My Disney Experience app to your mobile phone.

Thanks for allowing me to help you today. We're here if you need anything else.
