We have new Disney 2011 Military tickets, sadly not valid for New Year's Eve. I don't want to pay full park price for that one day, so will do other Disney activities. Is there a good place to watch Disney fireworks without full park admission that night?

Hi, Christopher! That's so exciting that you'll be at Walt Disney World to ring in the New Year! There are several vantage points near the Magic Kingdom (MK) from which you can see the fireworks without entering the park. There's a fourth-floor patio just outside the concourse at The Contemporary; the beaches at The Polynesian or Fort Wilderness; and the outside areas of The Grand Floridian.  You can also try to get Advanced Dining Reservations at restaurants which boast MK fireworks' views such as The California Grill, 'Ohana's or Narcoossee's. In addition, The Boardwalk resort area is a good place to watch the fireworks over Illuminations from Epcot.

I hope this helps you plan your New Year's celebration! Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation!
