With the new Dining Cancellation policy do you have to cancel before 11:59 Eastern time the day before your arrival to Disney, or at that time the day before your actual dining reservation?

    Hi Kristi,

    Thanks for your excellent question.

As I understand the policy, you must cancel the day prior to your dining reservation to avoid being subject to the cancellation charge. You do not have to cancel before your arrival at the Walt Disney World resort (unless, of course, the reservation you are cancelling is on the day of your arrival).

I've had no issues with the new policy so far. I hope it helps cut down on the number of no-shows to give more guests the opportunity to experience the great Disney table service restaurants.

Please let me know if I can do anything else to help as you make your plans. Enjoy!
