Hello, with the new changes coming to the parks, any chance "something"Tarzan will be coming to Animal Kingdom? It is such a great movie and i can't believe they dont have anything, since the show closed.

Hello, Melissa. You are definitely right that there are so many great new things coming to the parks, and especially Disney's Animal Kingdom. As the wonderful Phil Collins sang, "I see before me a new horizon."

Disney's Animal Kingdom, my favorite park, is currently making way for all new nighttime entertainment. 'Rivers of Light' is the new nighttime spectacular that will feature live music, swirling animal imagery, floating lanterns, and water screens similar to those used in Fantasmic! I'm am so excited to relax by Discovery River and experience 'Rivers of Light'.

Along with the new nighttime spectacular there will be live performers on Discovery Island, and a nighttime version of Kilimanjaro Safaris! One of the things I'm most looking forward to is seeing my beloved Tree of Life illuminated under the night sky. Of course I'm also excited for the highly anticipated AVATAR area of the park. Ive seen some of the concept art for AVATAR and think that it will be a beautiful addition.

All of those things are great, but you are here asking about Tarzan. I am a Tarzan fan myself, and I'm still heartbroken that the Tarzan Rocks! show is no longer running. They built an indoor theatre for Finding Nemo - The Musical to replace the show. "Come stop your crying it'll be alright…" You can meet Tarzan on Discovery Island, just check the Times Guide whenever you enter the park for location and times. His appearance and all other characters are subject to change, of course. I would most definitely welcome a new Tarzan experience, but I have not heard anything so far. I'll be checking the Disney Parks Blog with my fingers crossed!

If you need anything else please let us know. Have a magical day!
