Needs some itinerary help making the most of 4 day hopper/wp tix. arriving 5-22 depart 6-2. 2 sons, 7 & 10. Starwars weekend must do! Staying at beach club. Would like to see hddr and any other outside park ideas. Thanks so much !

    Amanda,

    Thanks for the question!

So you have a lot of free days where you don't have park tickets. What I have here is a nice spacing out of your park days, which should increase the anticipation and fun. I also have you going to both water parks, since your tickets should afford you four visits total.

    Here is what I would do;

    • May 22 - Arrival Day
    • May 23 - Magic Kingdom (all day)
    • May 24 - Typhoon Lagoon
    • May 25 - Animal Kingdom (am) / Epcot (pm)
    • May 26 - Blizzard Beach
    • May 27 - Downtown Disney
    • May 28 - Typhoon Lagoon
    • May 29 - Hollywood Studios (all day)
    • May 30 - Blizzard Beach
    • May 31 - Magic Kingdom (all day)
    • June 1 - Resort Pool/BoardWalk day
    • June 2 - Departure Day

Remember that while the Water parks are open until 6 or even 8pm, that is a pretty long day of high energy activity. Consider having some resort-based meals planned for those days.

As for other outside the park ideas, there are many. I like taking a day by the resort pool, and the last day is good for two reasons. Relax a bit before heading home, but also that is a VERY busy park day. So you can stay out late on the 30th, with nothing to rush off to the next morning but a beach chair! You can also consider something more active, like some of the watersports at area marinas (by the Contemporary), or maybe a Segway tour of Fort Wilderness. Golf is an obvious one too, if the kids like that.

Write me back with some of your general interests, and I can suggest some other off-park activities.

    Have a magical vacation!
