    Sara from NC Asked

If I am only needing to input credit card, dining plan & ticket options into my magic bands how soon to I need to add this information?

Thank you for returning to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Sara! I’m glad you’re hEAR planning your next vacation. MagicBands are an amazing, integrated part of a modern Disney vacation. They store all your My Disney Experience account information such as tickets, credit card for charging purposes in the Parks, dining reservations and more.

You can load any of this information onto My Disney Experience at any time in advance of your vacation. I like to add each item as soon as possible. I can book my hotel room 499 days in advance of my arrival, dining reservations 180 days in advance, FastPass+ reservations 60 days in advance and my credit card as I complete Online Resort check-in. Of course, you can add a MagicBand to your account as your Disney Resort Hotel vacation draws closer (within a few months) as they will ship to you about 3-4 weeks ahead of your departure. That being said, since your vacation is about 5 months away, I would start adding dining reservations and tickets now so that when your FP+ booking date arrives you’re ready to go. Each member of your family gets a MagicBand with your hotel booking, so get ready for some magic!

If I can help you further with any aspect of vacation planning, please let me know. FP+ and dining reservations can take a while to wrap your brain around, and are exciting to think about. You ain’t never had a friend like me! ~ Lindsey P.
