Do you need a separate park admission ticket in addition to the Christmas Party Ticket to get into Magic Kingdom for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party? What time can you enter Magic Kingdom on the day of the party with Christmas Party tickets only.

    Hi there, Helen!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so excited to see you will be visiting Walt Disney World Resort in November!

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is such a fun way to experience Magic Kingdom Park when it's beautifully decorated for the holiday season. There's just something so magical about enjoying holiday treats and seasonal beverages while watching Once Upon a Christmastime Parade on Main Street, U.S.A.

Great news! You will not need to purchase a regular Magic Kingdom Park Base Ticket in addition to your Special Event ticket unless you are trying to spend the entire day at the park. Although the party does not officially begin until 7:00 p.m., Guests have historically been allowed to enter Magic Kingdom Park beginning at 4:00 p.m. with their Special Event ticket. When my family has previously attended this festive event, we enjoyed a relaxing day at our Disney Resort hotel prior to the party so that we could last until midnight. We have always arrived at the iconic park right at 4:00 p.m. with just our Special Event tickets and have never encountered any issues when doing so.

I hope this information has been helpful to you, Helen. If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to stop by again. We would love to assist you further in planning a magical and merry trip!
