Do we need to make reservations for the on board shows?? I also was wanting a little more information on the merry land activity with Santa??Do we need to book the Santa activity?? Thank you

    Ahoy, Karey!
Can you believe you'll be setting sail for your Very Merrytime Cruise in just a few days? I know you can't wait to see the ship decked out with all its dazzling holiday decor and to enjoy a few extra pixie dusted offerings on your vacation with Captain Mickey! I'm so excited for you!
There will be plenty to "sea" and do on your sailing next week, and you'll be happy to know that no reservations are required for the shows in the Walt Disney Theatre. Your show time will coordinate with your dinner seating assignment. First seating Guests are scheduled to see the second show at 8:30 while second seating Guests are scheduled for the 6:15 show each evening. Seating is first-come, first-served so I do recommend arriving around 20-25 minutes early if you want a seat up front, but there is really not a bad seat in the theatre.
As for the special holiday events, you'll want to keep a close eye on your cruise newsletter, the Personal Navigator and the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app daily. This is where you'll want to look for any Santa appearances. The only activity I'm aware of that requires reserving a spot because of limited space is the Gingerbread House Making. This can be reserved by stopping by Guest Services once aboard. I'm not sure about the merry land activity with Santa so Guest Services is also a great place to ask any questions you may have about the special events planned for your sailing as programming is always subject to change.
Karen, best wishes for a Very Merrytime aboard Disney Cruise Line next week! If you have any other last minute questions, please let us know.
    Bon Voyage!
