Do I need to provide documentation from our doctor about my son's Autism. He has higher functioning autism but due to his issues with personal space and some sensory overload, we were interested in the guest assistance card.

It's not necessary to provide a doctor's note to obtain a guest assistance card, Christina, but it can be helpful in some situations.  When you approach the counter at Guest Services, the Cast Member will inquire about your son's specific needs.  You will need to be prepared with detailed information as to his limitations.  Some guests find it helpful to have a doctor's note just because it simplifies the process.  Once you provide this information to the Cast Member, he or she will be able to give you a guest assistance card that specifically addresses your son's unique situation and accommodates accordingly.  I hope that helps.
