I need to plan a vacation for my family of 3, our daughter is 9 years old. We have been to Disneyland but not DsineyWorld so we need as much help with where to stay, park tickets, dining plans, fast passes, and transportations please.

    Hi Maria,

Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel.

As a Disney destination fan who loves both Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort, I absolutely love the originality, intimacy, and walkability of Disneyland Resort, and I also love the size, scale, and multitude of experiences at Walt Disney World Resort.

You listed exactly the key parts of a Walt Disney World vacation to consider — your Walt Disney World Resort hotel, your theme park tickets, your Disney dining reservations, and your FastPass+ selections. In a brief answer, I won't be able to touch on all the ideas I'd like to share, so I'll try to highlight a few suggestions.

I always suggest first-time Guests check out the Free Planning Videos to get a great overview of Resort hotels, theme parks, and dining experiences. With so many Resorts to explore, you're sure to find your special place. A Magic Kingdom Park-area Resort hotel on the Monorail is always my first personal choice, followed by an Epcot-area Resort hotel. I find these Resort hotels offer lots of convenience for visiting 3 of the 4 theme parks. That said, I also love Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge for its sheer beauty and sense of adventure.

DisneyWorld.com introduced great new tools for ticket purchases and planning advice from Disney Parks Moms Panelists, so that can help. I always recommend a Park Hopper Option for maximum flexibility. You'll also want to use the My Disney Experience Mobile App.

Maria, there are lots of questions you might have, and I do hope you'll ask them here at Disney Parks Moms Panel so we can help with your vacation planning.
