Do I need to pay 1 Quick Service credit per person at Beauty and the Beast restaurant regardless of how many meals I order? My young kids could share 1 meal between the 2 of them. Also, can I opt to pay cash for them there to save their meal credits?

    Bonjour,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Nancy! It's so exciting to hear you have a vacation at Walt Disney World Resort planned!

You're so lucky to have found a reservation at Be Our Guest Restaurant for you and your family! Guests ages three and older are expected to order a meal for themselves while dining at a table-service restaurant. The only time an exception was made for my family was at a lunch reservation at Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano. My mom's stomach had been pretty upset and she did not feel like eating that day at all. We chose to bring her with us inside the restaurant though, otherwise, she would have had to wait outside by herself. We explained the situation to our server and not only were we not charged for her meal but he kept bringing tea to the table to try and make her feel better. He was so empathetic and kind!

I would imagine that asking if your kids could share a meal won't hurt; however, I believe they might just remind you what the expectation is.

As for the payment method, you can choose to pay whichever way you want, Nancy. You may choose not to use your dining plan credits and use cash, a credit card, debit card, or your MagicBand so that by tapping it, the amount will be charged to your room folio or reservation. Pretty neat, huh?

Nancy, I hope this is helpful. Please come back with more questions as you continue to plan your vacation. We'll be hEAR waiting for you!

    Bon appetit!

Meet the Panelist: Desiree, Peru

Hi! I'm Desiree from Lima, Peru. My family will never ever tire of visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth, even if means traveling almost 3,000 miles to do so! My husband and I love to watch the fireworks with our kids, but the best magic happens when the grandparents come along and we all feel the same age in front of Cinderella Castle! I love giving tips about different types of resorts and traveling with multigenerational groups.
