Need your opinion! We are sailing on the Wonder at the end of March. On the last morning of the cruise should we take our luggage with us to breakfast? I read that if they take your luggage then you will wait forever to be able to leave the ship.

Welcome back, Mary! With the crazy storms rolling through Ohio right now, I wish I were instead getting ready to set sail with Disney Cruise Line, so I'm sure you're already counting down the days until you sail! Not much longer now!

The night before you return to port, you'll have the option to send your luggage ahead so you don't have to haul it off the ship the next morning. Normally the bags must be left outside of your stateroom by about 10 p.m. that night. We keep a carry-on bag for each one of us so we can pack anything else and have any necessary items the next morning. It really is nice to send those big bags ahead because the final morning onboard can be a bit hectic with everyone getting ready to leave.

Guests who are carrying off all of their own luggage can begin leaving the ship as soon as it's cleared, before other guests. However, if you're still eating breakfast, you wouldn't benefit from leaving early in that group. A short bit later, all guests can begin disembarking the ship, and sometimes a line does form. If you're concerned about leaving the ship as early as possible, keep your bags, eat early, and plan to leave around 7:15 or 7:30 as soon as the ship has been cleared.

Since breakfast times are assigned that last morning, (6:45 for those who had first dining at dinner, 8:00 for those who had second seating at dinner), you may still be dining, or may not have even arrived for your seating when the first group of express walk off guests gets to leave. Another option is to grab a bite on your own time at Cabanas, which is open that morning too. Or, simply send your bags ahead and enjoy a more relaxing morning onboard, knowing that you may have a short wait to leave the ship.

I hope those details help, Mary!
