I need a list of rides at each park that my son can participate in. He has ALS and can not transfer from his electric power chair.

    Hi Theodore ~

As the Mom of a special needs child, I love that you're planning ahead for your son. The Walt Disney World Resort has done a great job of making the theme parks and other resort areas as accessible as possible by providing many different services for Guests with mobility disabilities. Some attractions allow Guests to remain in their wheelchairs to board and other attractions require Guests to be mobile to board. You will find a list for each of the four theme parks on the link I have provided you above.

I would also suggest going to Guest Relations at the first theme park you visit to speak with a Cast Member regarding Disability Access Service (DAS). DAS is designed to assist Guests who are unable to wait in a standard queue for medical reasons including those that are not apparent. A Cast Member will take your son's photo for DAS and link it to his MagicBand. They will need to link everyone's MagicBands in your party as well so that you can all enter an attraction with your son.

Once you obtain DAS, you can go to an attraction and see a Cast Member at the entrance to get a return time to come back and enter the Disney FastPass+ service queue. Your son's return time will show up in your My Disney Experience so be sure to download the My Disney Experience mobile app prior to your trip. Your son can only obtain a DAS return time for one attraction at a time but you can get another DAS return time as soon as he has enjoyed the attraction. DAS can be used in addition to your son's Disney FastPass+ service selections.

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
