Greetings, Silvia, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It’s great to have you hEAR!

As a mom of three Mouseketeers under the age of 8, I have plenty of advice to pass along to you, and I’m excited to help plan your dream Disneyland Resort vacation! For starters, I recommend checking out this helpful Planning Guide for Preschool Kids & Little Ones. This guide will highlight the best attractions, entertainment, dining, and Character greetings for toddlers. Some of my 3-year-old’s favorite "any height" attractions are “it’s a small world,” Astro Orbitor, Autopia, Casey Jr. Circus Train, Mad Tea Party, Toy Story Midway Mania!, Jessie’s Critter Carousel, Golden Zephyr, Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree, Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters, and The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel’s Undersea Adventure.

In addition to family-friendly attractions, there are also plenty of shows your little ones will adore, too, starting with Disney Jr. Dance Party! in Hollywood Land. This lively and interactive show features Disney Jr. Characters like Vampirina, Doc McStuffins, and even Mickey and Minnie Mouse! My kids also love the Mickey and the Magical Map show, which you can find in Fantasyland, near “it’s a small world.”

When it's time for a diaper change or a break, I recommend heading to one of two Baby Care Centers (there's one located in each park). The Disneyland Park location is at the end of Main Street, U.S.A., and the Disney California Adventure Park location is on Pacific Wharf. There, you can feed, change, or purchase baby necessities you may have forgotten to pack.

Here’s another helpful planning tool, featuring videos covering the Disneyland Resort theme parks and hotels. Speaking of hotels, my top recommendation for Disney-themed rooms is The Disneyland Hotel. This hotel is filled with classic Disney nostalgia with all the modern amenities you crave. My kids are obsessed with the Monorail Waterslides, which can keep them busy for hours. The Disneyland Hotel is just a short walk through Downtown Disney District to both parks, or you can hop on the Disneyland Monorail for a ride into Disneyland Park.

My favorite Disneyland Resort hotel in terms of proximity is Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, since it has an exclusive entrance directly into Disney California Adventure Park! This proximity to the parks allows easy access to your room any time of day, whether your little ones need a nap or even a pool break!

Also, tickets are required for any Guests age 3 or over, so your 3-year-old will require a ticket, but your 2-year-old will not. Last but not least, here’s an interactive map you can use to check out the Disneyland Resort and start mapping out your magical adventures now!

Wishing you an unforgettable visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!

Hello from sunny California! I currently live less than an hour from the Disneyland Resort, and have been an Annual Passholder for about 20 years! As a mom of three kids under the age of 7, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to “The Happiest Place on Earth!”
