I need some help I am planning a trip to DW for a friend and I and our 3 kids all under the age of 5 and I don't even know where to begin, which parks should we go to and where should we make our dinner reservations?

    Hi Jessica,

Planning a Disney vacation can seem overwhelming.  There are so many things to see and do, it's impossible to see it all, but it's also difficult to pick and choose.  I'm not sure when you are planning on traveling or for how many days you'll be in Disney World.

Start by choosing a resort.  I'm guessing that with young children, you'll want to take some time out during the day for a rest in your hotel room.  If your budget allows, choose a deluxe resort - one that has monorail access will allow you to get from the Magic Kingdom or Epcot back to your room with little hassle.  If you choose to stay at a moderate or value resort, just remember to factor in bus travel times when planning your days.

Choose which parks you want to visit.  They all have something for little ones to enjoy, but you'll definitely want to visit Magic Kingdom.  To help you decide on the other parks to visit, I recommend ordering the Disney Vacation-Planning DVD.  It's free and full of suggestions to get you started.  There is even a section on the DVD geared to traveling with young children.  If you haven't already ordered this helpful planning tool, click HERE.

Once you decide which parks you want to visit, you are ready to start making dining reservations. I suggest doing a character meal or two.  Some of my favorites are Crystal Palace (featuring Winnie the Pooh), Chef Mickey's (with, you guessed it - Mickey Mouse), or Garden Grill (with Chip and Dale).

This should get you started.  If you have any other questions, feel free to come back and ask.  All of the moms & dad on the panel are eager to help you have a magical vacation!
