Need help with dinner reservations the night of arrival. We are staying at all star movie resort. 2yr/9yr-  character would be great and something with a buffet, we have breakfast at chef mickeys and fun.  Suggestions?

The 2 character dinner meals available for your arrival night are Chef Mickey’s at the Contemporary Resort and 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian. All other character dinners would be inside a theme park and require park admission.

Dinner at the Grand Floridian’s 1900 Park Fare would be a fun, first evening meal. You would travel from the All Star Movies to the Magic Kingdom via bus, then transfer to the resort monorail or boat over to the Grand Floridian.

1900 Park Fare features a buffet meal with characters from Cinderella in attendance. The regular characters are Cinderella, Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine, Anastasia and Drizella.

You may want to time your meal so that afterwards you can watch the Magic Kingdom’s Wishes fireworks from the Grand Floridian boat dock. This would make a magical first night.

If Cinderella doesn’t interest your family, fun meals can also be found at the Rainforest Café at Downtown Disney or Animal Kingdom, and the Whispering Canyon Café at the Wilderness Lodge.
