    Kevin from AZ Asked

Need to fill in a day visit to DCA with my 7.5m pregnant wife- her first visit (she has only been to WDW). I want to plan small rides, eating, gifts, and experiences (ie, reserve restaurant for World of Color). Any ideas?

Hi, Kevin! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I really love that you are exploring all the different ways for you and your wife to have a magical day at Disney California Adventure Park. I definitely have a few ideas that I want to share! First, take a look at the attractions page and filter by "Expectant Mother Advisory." This will tell you which attractions your wife should avoid. At Disney California Adventure Park, there are currently only five attractions that have this advisory. If she has clearance from her doctor and if she feels up to it, she can still enjoy Soarin' Around the World, Toy Story Midway Mania!, The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel's Undersea Adventure, and many more.

After riding attractions, she might enjoy watching Frozen - Live at the Hyperion. This Broadway-style show is a theatrical marvel and a great way to get the mom-to-be off her feet for a while. There are usually several showtimes throughout the day, but I recommend showing up to your desired performance at least 30 minutes prior to showtime. A World of Color Dining Package is an excellent idea, but you might consider booking the World of Color Dessert Party instead. This way, you and your wife can enjoy the show from the comfort of a seat while you munch on sweet treats.

Finally, the Lunar New Year celebration is taking place until February 18th and features amazing Asian cuisine, performances, and unique character interactions. You two might want to stop the by Lucky Wishing Wall to add your wishes and hopes for a year that is certainly going to bring you much joy with the arrival of your little one.

I hope your visit is full of magic and memories!
