Do I need fastpasses for my entire party if my husband and I are going to do a rider swap with our 4 children or do only a few us of need the passes?

    Hi Kristen,

As a Mom of 4 kiddos myself I am a huge fan of Disney's Rider Switch Service.  My husband and I love that we do not have to miss out on our favorite attractions and our older (and taller) children love that they are sometimes able to ride a second time along with the parent who obtains the Rider Switch pass.

If members of the first party wish to enter the FastPass+ queue they will need to have made a FastPass+ selection for that attraction.  However the second party who has the Rider Switch pass may use the Rider Switch pass to enter the FastPass+ queue and does not need to have also made a FastPass+ selection.  The Rider Switch pass allows the bearer to enter the FastPass+ queue.  Be sure to read the printed information on your Rider Switch pass for specific details regarding how many Guests may enter the FastPass+ queue.  One thing I would like to point out is that you may obtain a Rider Switch pass at participating attractions regardless if the first party will be entering the FastPass+ queue or the standby entrance.  FastPass+ Service is a separate service from Rider Switch Service and therefore Guests may use both services when enjoying their vacation experience.

I hope this information helps you with your vacation planning!  Please let us know if you have any further questions, we are always happy to help.

    Blessings,
