Do I need a fast pass for a child who is 1 and doesn't pay for a ticket?

Hi Mindy! Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is just about here! Are you counting down the days? I know I would be!

Children ages 2 and under do not need FastPass+. I have taken my young children since they were infants and they just tag along with me through the FastPass+ or standby lines. As long as you have FastPass+ for an attraction, your 1-year old will be able to accompany you in the FastPass+ line to enjoy the entertainment, Character experiences and rides that do not have a height requirement.

I'm glad you are thinking ahead and making those FastPass+ reservations. You can make three FastPass+ selections per person (ages 3 and older, with valid theme park admission), per day, in advance. After you use those three, you can use the My Disney Experience mobile app, or a theme park kiosk, to make one more selection, subject to availability. And once you use that one, you can make another! I like to plan my FastPass+ selections for early in the day, so I can take advantage of getting more while we are on-the-go in the theme parks throughout the day.

I hope you are ready for a wonderful trip! Be sure to keep an eye (and a camera) on the awe in your little one's face with each Character interaction, colorful ride and firework witnessed. They are memories you will always cherish! Go ahead and give Mickey a high-five for me while you're there!
