Hi, I will need an ecv. What is the best way to shortest walk? if park in handicap and taking the van, can my family members come with me? or should I just park regular and is there a tram like at WDW? Which is closer to ecv rental? and most convenient?

    Hi there, Cindy!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm so excited that you are eagerly planning the details of your Disneyland Resort vacation, and I'd love to help make your trip more magical.

Keep in mind that there are two parking locations for the Disneyland Resort theme parks: Mickey & Friends Parking Structure and Toy Story Parking Area. Both of these options offer transportation which brings you closer to the parks so you don't have to walk. Over in the Toy Story Parking Area you can take a bus and Mickey & Friends Parking Structure offers tram service. Both of these parking areas also offer accessible parking if your car is displaying a disability license plate or official placard. These accessible parking spots are probably the shortest distance to the parking transportation in both locations. In the Mickey & Friends Parking Structure, there is also Preferred Parking available for an extra charge which allows you to be closer to the elevators in the structure if you do not have an official disability placard. If you take the accessible van, your whole party can join you, but accessible options are also available on the standard tram and bus as well. Keep in mind that the early bird gets the worm as well as the ECV since these are rented from the Disneyland Resort on a first-come, first-served basis so arrive early!

If you need some rest and relaxation during your park days or just a chance to rest your feet, I'd love to recommend a scenic ride on the Disneyland Railroad, Disneyland Monorail, or the Mark Twain Riverboat. All of these offer unforgettable views and iconic Disneyland transportation experiences.

I hope this helps, and have a Fantasmic day!
