We will need to get a DAS pass for our grandson. There is 13 in our group mom, sister, grandparents, aunts and uncles. It would be awful to separate. When I spoke to the phone operator at Disney they said they wont separate us on rides. Is this true?

    Hey there, Karen!

I just love it when the whole family can be together for a great, big, beautiful trip to Walt Disney World. We've always made so many magical memories when our extended family has been able to join us at our happy place.

The Disability Access Service program is absolutely meant to make a visit to the Walt Disney World theme parks more accessible, not more stressful. The official word on the card is that you are limited to 6 guests with the card, however, exceptions can be made to accommodate special circumstances. You will need to inquire at guest services at the time you obtain the DAS card, and they will try to get approval so that your whole family can stay together.

Don't forget to utilize the FastPass+ system while you are visiting. If you are a Walt Disney World resort guest, you can book the FastPass+ selections 60 days in advance of your trip. This will work in conjunction with the Disability Access Service card to help you maximize the magic at the theme parks.

Karen, I wish you the most amazing vacation with your grandson and extended family. I do hope that it's practically perfect in every way.
