Do we need to bring pirate garbs for Pirate night? I thought I heard that they'll put a pirate head scarf and eye-patch in the rooms for everyone....is that true?

Welcome aboard, Martine! Pirate Night on Disney's ships is always a favorite in our family, and for so many other guests as well.

It's a great idea to pack pirate costumes and other swashbuckling accessories for your family members (yes, adults too!). While all guests will receive a Mickey's Pirates IN the Caribbean bandana to wear that night, many guests go way above that simple bandana and really dress up to get in the spirit of Pirate Night. You'll see everything from families in full pirate costumes and wigs to guests with an extra pirate accessory here and there.

Additionally, the gift shops onboard sell quite a bit of pirate gear, but if you have room in your luggage to bring your own, you can be well prepared. That night you'll enjoy a pirate-themed menu at dinner, characters dressed in their pirate best, pirate-themed games and activities, a pirate Deck Party up on the pool deck and of course the famous Buccaneer Blast Fireworks at sea - a Disney first!

Have a wonderful time as you continue planning your cruise, Martine! I'm happy to help with any other questions you might have before you set sail, so please don't hesitate to stop back again!
