    Kendra from TX Asked

Do I need to bring a carseat?

    Dear Kendra,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you so much for bringing us your question. How exciting to hear your family vacation is just a few weeks away!

Disney Transportation options do not require the use of a car seat. Disney's complimentary bus system, monorail, and watercraft do not require car seats at all. My children are now all grown, but I have seen moms babywear their youngest ones or simply have their toddlers sit on their lap.

If you are planning on leaving Disney property, you could use Disney's Minnie Van Service. These are comfortable, extra cute vehicles operated by Disney through the Lyft app and driven by Cast Members. Minnie Vans are equipped with two Graco car seats. If you prefer to use a taxi app such as Uber, you could request the UberFamily option on their app, and Uber will send a vehicle with one car seat.

Kendra, please visit this link with valuable information about traveling with young children to the Walt Disney World Resort and please come back with more and more questions. We are always eager to help!

    See ya real soon!

Meet the Panelist: Desiree, Peru

Hi! I'm Desiree from Lima, Peru. My family will never ever tire of visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth, even if means traveling almost 3,000 miles to do so! My husband and I love to watch the fireworks with our kids, but the best magic happens when the grandparents come along and we all feel the same age in front of Cinderella Castle! I love giving tips about different types of resorts and traveling with multigenerational groups.
