    Erin from NE Asked

Do we need to bring a car seat for our 6 month old? We will be flying in, taking the Magic and Express there and back and then flying back home. I didn't know if car seats are even used on the Magic Express?

Hi Erin!  If you are not going to need a car seat for your flight and not planning on renting a car during your stay then you do not necessarily need a car seat for a Disney vacation.

Car seats are not permitted on the Magical Express buses. This service picks you up at the terminal at the airport and will drop you off at your resort. To get around the property you will be using buses, boats, or monorails and car seats are not allowed on these vehicles as well. If you find you need to use a taxi during your stay you can request one that will have a car seat.

Planning your vacation with an infant is a bit more complicated but it is also so fulfilling seeing the smiles and giggles from your child at their first sight of a character or attraction. Remember you can ship things to your resort before you arrive. Check out the Disney Mail Services and follow those directions if you choose to do this for your vacation!
