Do we need to take a bag or bucket for trick or treating during the Halloween on the High Sea Cruise?

    Hi there, Jennifer!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  I am so excited that you sailed by with your question about your upcoming Halloween on the High Seas adventure!  Can you believe that your Disney Cruise Line vacation is THIS month!?!?!  I don’t know about you, but for those last few weeks before vacation…it’s ALL I can think of!  I am so excited for you and the memories you will make onboard the Disney Dream.

My family’s first Disney Cruise Line vacation was during a Halloween on the High Seas voyage and I had absolutely no idea what to expect…I didn't know about Mickey’s Mousequerade Party and onboard trick-or-treating so I was not very prepared!  Thankfully my son was only seven-months old at the time and I had some skeleton pajamas that we put him in for the onboard fun!  And…his Daddy happily carted him around the different tables to trick-or-treat knowing exactly who would get to enjoy that candy later!  Bags will be provided for you in your stateroom for collecting your loot, but you are welcome to bring your own, if you prefer.

In addition to Mickey’s Mousquerade Party and trick-or-treating, my favorite activity during the Halloween-themed voyages is the telling of The Legend of the Pumpkin Trees, which is typically on the first night of your voyage.  Once onboard check the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app and make a point to not miss!

    Happy Sailing!
