Need some advice. On our day of arrival at approx. 4 p.m. at POFQ. Should we head to a park (Epcot) or to Downtown Disney? We know that at Epcot some of the popular rides will be out of FP so not sure if it's worth it to spend an evening there of DD?

If you're arriving at your hotel at 4:00, then the Fast Passes for Soarin', Test Track, and Mission Space will almost certainly be gone for the day. My inclination would be to tell you not to use up a day of your park passes for Epcot since this will be the case.

When we arrive at WDW in the late afternoon, we never go to a park on that day. Instead we'll plan an intro to Disney World meal or activity -- almost like an appetizer for the main meal of theme park touring. Our "appetizer" could be a character meal, a show like the Hoop Dee Doo Revue, or a trek to Downtown Disney. These things will get us in the Disney spirit, but still allow us to recover a bit from our travels. Then, in the morning, we're refreshed and ready to conquer the parks.

Hope you have a great trip!
