    Kim from SC Asked

Hi! I need advice about booking fast passes. My plan is to book all 3 early in the day so we have a chance of securing additional ones later. How much time between the reservations for each of the fast passes do you recommend?

    Hi Kim,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am delighted that you brought this question to me!

Your plan is excellent. We typically do all of our initial Fast Pass+ selections back to back. For example, at Magic Kingdom, we like to eat at Be Our Guest at 8:00 a.m. then do Seven Dwarfs Mine Train from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m., Space Mountain from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. and Tomorrowland Speedway from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon. Since we usually visit in the summer, we head back to the resort after lunch and spend some time at the pool. In the evening, after it has cooled down a bit, we head back out for dinner and more park time!

Before we leave the park, we schedule a fourth Fast Pass+. On our last visit, I scheduled Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin as our fourth Fast Pass+. The girls and I headed back to the park after a quick dinner at the resort. We watched the end of the Move It, Shake It, Dance & Play It! Street Party. Once the street party ended, we saw a cast member taping off viewing areas for the fireworks. So, we grabbed a spot in the viewing area right in front of Cinderella Castle. I sent the girls to do that last Fast Pass+ while I held our fireworks spot. They returned and we had about an hour and a half to wait for the fireworks. But, we had the BEST view for the Happily Ever After show!

Kim, stick to your plan of doing your first three Fast Pass+ selections early in the day. The ride time windows are generally one hour each. That hour is plenty of time to ride and then get to the next Fast Pass+ - just try to plan them in some sort of geographic order so that you are not running back and forth across the park. Once you complete your first three Fast Pass+ selections, you can make another one. Just know that same day selections are limited.

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
