Is it necessary to have reservations for each meal of the day. We are on the dining plan. Thanks.

    Hi Robert,

Advanced dining reservations are certainly not necessary, however, depending upon the time of year you travel and the specific restaurants you are interested in dining at, they often make for a smoother vacation.  At peak travel times (during the holidays and summer months, for example) the parks and resorts are quite crowded, as are table service restaurants.  If you have your heart set on a specific venue (a character meal, for example) a reservation is a very good idea.  If, however, your plans are flexible, you don't mind waiting a bit for a table and you are travelling during value (less crowded) seasons it is possible to secure a table without a reservation at some restaurants.  While making reservations seems like a lot of planning, I strongly recommend them if at all possible.

    Have a magical trip!
