We will be near Disney for another event and want to bring my two year old to Disney for two days. What is the best way to do it for tickets and what should we take her to see. We have not been to Disney in 30 years.

    Hi Vicki,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I can only imagine the excitement for your 2-year old when she sees her favorite characters in person for the first time!

So much to consider, so much to do! First, I suggest you create a My Disney Experience Account online. If you choose to stay at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, you can link your resort hotel confirmation number to your My Disney Experience Account. Then I suggest you purchase your theme park tickets and link those tickets to your My Disney Experience Account. Once your resort hotel and theme park tickets are linked to your My Disney Experience Account, you can identify your Fast Pass+ selection date - 30 days prior to your stay if you are not staying on property and 60 days prior to your stay if you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. Fast Pass+ saves us hours of time in line for rides!

Vicki, at your daughter's age, I would definitely suggest Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom theme parks. At Magic Kingdom, our girls love Dumbo the Flying Elephant, The Magic Carpets of Aladdin, Peter Pan's Flight, and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. At Animal Kingdom, try Kilimanjaro Safaris, Na'vi River Journey and The Festival of the Lion King Show. Make dining reservations for character meals. Doing so will allow her to interact with several characters while dining. A few of our favorite restaurants are Chef Mickey's, The Crystal Palace and Tusker House Restaurant. If she is a princess fan, try Cinderella's Royal Table, 1900 Park Fare or Akershus Royal Banquet Hall. At 1900 Park Fare, one of our girls just grinned when she first met Prince Charming!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
    Donyell
