Hi Nancy! Just booked our first DCL Fantasy 7 nite Western Carribean. What time to book the flight to get to Orlando? There is direct flight arrives 11:45 a.m. day of departure. What if it is late? What do you recommend? Do most people fly in nite b4?

    Hi Erin!
It is wonderful to hear from you again, and congratulations on your first Disney Fantasy voyage!  If you can, I highly recommend flying in the day or night before. If anything does go wrong with your air travel, you will have extra time for Plan B and it won't be nearly as stressful as if it occurs the day of your sailing.  If you are looking at evening flights, I do recommend staying at the Hyatt at the airport because it is super convenient for cruisers!  The hotel is connected to the airport so you don't have far to travel once you arrive and once you are ready to head to Port Canaveral the next morning.  On the day of departure, your luggage can be picked up by the hotel staff and delivered to your stateroom for you!  Disney Cruise Line's transportation usually begins around 9:30am so after grabbing breakfast, you can head over the Disney's Magical Express counter to check-in for your ground transportation.  After boarding the comfortable, air-conditioned motor coach, you will arrive at Disney Cruise Line's spacious cruise terminal in about an hour or so!
I'm so glad you asked this question, Erin!  You really want your first cruise experience to be smooth sailing from start to finish and arriving the day before should ensure this for your crew!
Please keep me posted as you continue to plan!
    Have a fantabulous day!
