    Jamie from SC Asked

Hi my name is Jamie. I'm planning a trip to Disney in June.  I can't decide if the coral restaurant is a good place to eat. I have a preteen and a teenager

Hi, my kids love to go to the Coral Reef Restaurant in Epcot, but for dessert, sounds funny, but they like to sit and enjoy the ambiance with the fish tank.  They didn't particularly like the main food menu, as it was full of Seafood, as one would expect.  My 14 year old, said, it didn't feel right eating Shrimp, Catfish, or Salmon as they are swimming all around her.  There was also, NY Strip Steak, chicken breast, and Shrimp Pasta.  The wait staff assured my kids that the fish that are in the tank, don't come out on the plates, but seemed to ease some of the fears.   The children's menu, has some choices that may be more appealing for your kids, although, I have a 11 year old, that will order NY Sirloin if given the chance.  If you are not on the dining plan, eat there for lunch if you decide to eat at the Coral Reef.  The lunch menu is less expensive, I try not to eat there at dinner time, unless I'm no the Dining Plan, because I feel its too pricey for my budget.  Have a fabulous trip!!!
