    Gina from NY Asked

Hi! My name is Gina and I have some questions about planning a holiday trip to Disneyland. Will the holiday attractions be open 11/14/17? Small World Holiday & Haunted Mansion Holiday? Does Disneyland have a Christmas party like they do for Halloween?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Gina. Thanks for stopping by again with more questions for us.

At this time, there has not been any official announcement regarding dates for Holidays at the Disneyland Resort. However, last year’s celebration was announced on the Disney Parks Blog in early September. Last year, Holidays at the Disneyland Resort began on November 13, 2015 and ended on January 6, 2016. I anticipate the timeline will be similar for 2017 as well, and I wish you’d be able to experience a merry time at the Happiest Place on Earth. Be sure to check back on the Disney Parks Blog for updates.

As for “it’s a small world” and Haunted Mansion Holiday, these will be transformed when Holidays at the Disneyland Resort begin. In fact, Haunted Mansion gets a Christmas makeover during Halloween Time and remains there through the Holidays, courtesy of Jack Skellington and gang.

Lastly, I regret to inform you that there is typically no party during the Holidays at Disneyland Resort that is similar to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at the Walt Disney World Resort. However, events are subject to change. The best way to get the most up-to-date information is to check on the Disneyland Resort website or Disney Parks Blog.

I hope this information is helpful for you as you plan for a Holiday trip to the Happiest Place on Earth in 2017. Please visit us on the Panel again if you have further questions, Gina.

    Have a magical day,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

I am a wife and mother to 2 children, a 14 year old daughter and 9 year old son. I have always enjoyed going to Disneyland Resort as a child and now that I am a mother, I love watching my children experience Disneyland Resort through their eyes. It is a true delight seeing my daughter wear a ball gown walking side by side with Cinderella or my son jumping gleefully after he defeated Darth Maul in a light saber duel! Learn More About Kiki
