Myself, my sister and her fiancee and my twin 7yr old girls are arriving Dec 17 and leavig Dec26. Which is the best day to visit which amusement parks?

    Hi, Kendra!

Please be advised that holiday time is one of the busier times at Walt Disney World, but with careful planning, you can avoid getting in crowded situations. I find that the decorations and the general holiday cheer make the other "stuff" worthwhile!

The closer the calendar inches toward Christmas, the more people flock to the Parks. I would suggest hitting the Magic Kingdom and Epcot - likely in that order - on your first couple of days. Follow them with Disney's Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom. If you'd like a more specific itinerary, feel free to contact me through the Moms Panel site, and let me know the kinds of tickets you have (multi-day single Park, Park Hoppers, etc.).

Incidentally, if you knock out the Parks early in your stay, you'll have plenty of options for the holidays; from touring the decorations at the Resorts to live entertainment and shopping at Downtown Disney, you will never be short of activities and delights!

Weather in Florida at that time of the year, while sometimes unpredictable, is usually gorgeous. Highs can be anywhere from the mid-high 60s, with the lows in the 40s-50s.

There is so much to rave about Disney during the holidays that you'll easily lose yourself in the merriment and incredible atmosphere.

    Happy holidays!

    See you later, celebrator,
