We are going to MVMCP on Dec 7--extended family group of 12 ppl. Would like to see the Fireworks at 9:30, the Celebrate the Season at 10:05 and then the parade at 10:30. Where and when should we stake out a spot so we can see all 3 events?? Thanks!

    Hi there, Jill!

You're in for a real treat at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party! I can just imagine what a fabulous time you're going to have with such a big group of extended family!

When I attended this spectacular Party, I stayed up toward Cinderella Castle by the famous Partners statue is. This spot gave my family an amazing view of all of the festivities that you mention and I was able to really capture some great photos too. Of course, everyone has their own favorite spots to enjoy the nighttime fun, but that's where my family loves to "camp out."

Another one of our favorite spots is just at the end of Main Street, U.S.A. by Casey's Corner. I think the view of the Parade along the street is just incredible with the backdrop of all the lit-up buildings and garland. It's such a magical sight looking out toward Cinderella Castle as you watch the fireworks overhead. Now, you'll be a little farther away for any stage shows that go on, but we still love that view as well.

I'm thinking with a party size of twelve, you'll want to pretty much stay put so you won't lose your spots. Be sure to grab some free hot cocoa and cookies to satisfy your sweet tooth while you're watching!

Jill, thanks for stopping by the Moms Panel and I sure hope this helps. Please let us know if we can help with any other questions you have as you continue planning.

Wishing you and your family a Pixie Dusted vacation!
