Hi mums, coming from the UK and would like advice on how to use the magical express? what happens exactly with our luggage? who do we hand it in to? and will we receive DME luggage tags as were international? Got confused last time and would like some help

    Hi Lizzie,

As an international guest, you will not receive the yellow Magical Express luggage tags that US domestic guests will. You should check your bags with your airline in the UK just as you would for any other flight. When you get to Orlando, get your bags yourself at the luggage carousel and proceed to passport control.

From there, take yourself and your bags to the Magical Express check-in desk at the ground transportation level of the B Side terminal. The Magical Express bus driver will load your bags under your bus and they will travel with you to your resort.

I live in the US and often use Magical Express, but I often choose to use the same process required for international guests, collecting my bags at the carousel and bringing them to the bus myself. It makes me a little nervous waiting for several hours, not knowing exactly when my bags will make it to the room. Also, I like to have access to all my belongings in case I want to change or freshen up before hitting the parks.

If you'd like more information about Magical Express procedures, you may want to head over to the independent website and search there for an article called "Frequently Asked Questions About Disney's Magical Express." You'll find photos of the entire process there.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know what else we can do to help.
