If I have a multi-day ticket & upgrade to a Park Hopper, do I pay the same extra cost regardless of whether I upgrade on day 2 or day 4? Or is waiting until day 4 cheaper? Thx.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Julie. Thanks for stopping by with your questions for us.

With your multi-day one park ticket, you can only visit either Disneyland Park OR Disney California Adventure Park each day. However, by upgrading to a multi-day Park Hopper, you enjoy the flexibility and convenience of "hopping" from one park to another. I personally love the Park Hopper option and find that to be an invaluable part of our Disneyland Resort vacation.

Whether you choose to pay for a 2-day or 4-day Park Hopper, the price difference from the One-Park option is only $40. So whether you choose to upgrade on Day 2 or Day 4, you'll be paying $40 extra to upgrade to a Park Hopper. If you plan to spend 4 days at the Disneyland Resort, I suggest upgrading to the Park Hopper on your first day when you arrive, so that you'll have four full days of enjoying both parks.

I hope this information is helpful for you as you continue to plan your magical vacation. Please visit us on the Panel again if you have further questions, Julie.

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

I am a wife and mother to 2 children, a 14 year old daughter and 9 year old son. I have always enjoyed going to Disneyland Resort as a child and now that I am a mother, I love watching my children experience Disneyland Resort through their eyes. It is a true delight seeing my daughter wear a ball gown walking side by side with Cinderella or my son jumping gleefully after he defeated Darth Maul in a light saber duel! Learn More About Kiki
