    Hi Amanda,

How fun to be planning such an exciting family trip!

I would shoot for December 2014 as that will give you all the chance to see Disney World during the most magical time of the year. The parks will be decorated for the holidays and it's absolutely beautiful. In addition, the week that you are considering is historically quite reasonable crowd level wise. If you wait too close to Christmas, it gets extremely busy. The weather in December is usually cool enough that a light jacket is required, although coming from Michigan you may find that you could wear shorts and be warm. It's all relative depending on where you are from. January is comparable weather wise, but I would choose December hands down. The magic of Disney during the holidays can't be beat!

Please let me know if I can assist you further in planning this multi-generational Grand Gathering!
