Mrs. Andrea, I was the one with the wild sleeping toddler. I have ordered the twin sized blowup mattress, great idea! Hope he sleeps on it. We are staying at BWV and BCV, in a studio. If this doesn't work out, does the mattress come off the sofa bed?

So glad to hear from you again, Hollie!

    Don't worry about your wild-sleeping toddler...been there! :-)

If your blowup mattress doesn't work out to your liking, I suggest that you use the cushions from the sleeper sofa in your two resorts. We routinely used the base cushions from the sleeper sofas, the sleeper chairs and the love seat in various Disney Vacation Club studios and villas in order to set up a low-lying, comfy sleeping area for my own flailing little sleeper. We'd set those cushions up in a tight row along a wall or the base of a sofa and wrap them tightly in a sheet for the sleeper unit. A pillow just past the outside edge of the "bed" and one against the wall / sofa base (plus one for his head) and we were good to go. Low-lying, comfy sleeping area that keeps Mom and Dad calm as they try to fall asleep, too. If he rolls over, it's only about 5 inches to the ground. No worries. :-)

By the way, we always bring a little plush blanket per kid (even now) as well as a favorite stuffed sleeping buddy so that the sleeping area always seems comfortable and clearly his or her own. (Back packs as a carry-on are great for keeping these items close at all times; tightly roll the blanket and tuck it plus a buddy into the backpack. Works for a flight or a car ride, too!) Set up the "bed" and tuck a favorite stuffed animal from home (or a new friend, kid-selected, from the trip) under a blanket from home, and the kids just know that this is their special space.

We use the lowest light setting on the microwaves in Disney Vacation Club studios (or turn on a bathroom light and close the door about 80%) for a nightlight. Works beautifully to keep all of us aware of our new surroundings, without keeping anyone awake due to a bright light.

Send more questions, Hollie! I love to help! :-)
