Mom And Daughter Resort Room

Hi MP! My mom and I are going to WDW in Dec. Problem is she lives in VA and I live in PA. I plan on waiting for her at MCO but we want the ME to take us to the hotel and back. How do we enter our flight info since we're sharing a room?

    Hi Charmaine!

Disney's Magical Express is one of the wonderful perks afforded to guests staying at one of the Walt Disney World resorts.  Shuttle service is provided, free of charge, from Orlando International Airport to your resort and back.  Your luggage is handled by Disney from the time you leave your home airport and will arrive at your resort up to three hours after check-in.

In order to make sure that both you and your mother are scheduled for DME, you would need to call DME at (407) 939-6244 and indicate that you are sharing a room, and will be departing from two different airports.  You will need to provide them with yours and her flight information, both departing and arriving, and DME will make sure to note this on your reservation.  The only caveat to this is that they will send you her luggage vouchers, which means you can mail them to her, so she can affix them to her luggage, or when you arrive at Orlando International, you can retrieve your own luggage and head straight to the Magical Express desk and show them your vouchers.  When it is time for check out, you will both receive separate DME envelopes with individual pick up times corresponding to your departure time.

Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!
