Hi MP. Im traveling to DW in June with tweens. They have different interests so I'm looking for a way of keeping peace. I remember there was a Phineas and Pherb game at Epcot. Is this still available and are there similar games in the other parks?

    Hi Lorie,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Walt Disney World's interactive adventures allow Guests to immerse themselves in the magic and stories of each park; what a great way to encourage your kids to cooperate and have fun together!

We saw several tween-aged kids doing the Disney Phineas and Ferb: Agent P’s World Showcase Adventure scavenger hunt when we were there, and it looked awesome. Sign up online while at Epcot, and then use your smartphone to help Perry the Platypus complete a series of missions that arrive via text with the aim of defeating the evil Dr. Doofenschmirtz. I love activities like this because it keeps the kids busy (and working together) while the adults can enjoy the ambience, food, and drink around the World Showcase. Win-win!

Have your children tried Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom? This one is really neat because of the exclusive cards and really cool special effects that are “unlocked” as you complete the quests. Your tweens get to be the Sorcerer’s Apprentices as they use a map to discover portals and defeat Disney villains. Stop by the Firehouse on Main Street, U.S.A to learn the story and get started.

Over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, your tweens can become Wilderness Explorers. Check in at Headquarters on the bridge from Discovery Island to the Oasis, or stop at any Wilderness Explorers outpost to get started - the wilderness must be explored, after all.

I hope your tweens love these adventures and enjoy their time spent together in the world of yesterday, tomorrow, and fantasy.

    Wishing you a magical vacation,

    Robyn
