    Gabriella from CA Asked

We just moved from TX to SoCal and we want to purchase an annual pass. Is there any other proof of residency, besides a CA issued ID, that we can bring since we still have our TX IDs.

Howdy, Gabriella! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel and asking your question.

I am so excited that you will soon be visiting the Disneyland Resort year-round as an Annual Passport holder! First things first, though, to purchase the Southern California Select Annual Passport, you will need a valid government-issued photo ID or driver’s license with your new California address. Unfortunately, utility bills, leases, etc. are not accepted as proof of residency. A government ID needs to be presented either when you purchase your Annual Passport at the parks or when you pick up your physical Annual Passport card at a ticket booth if you purchase online. Also, you will need to reside within ZIP codes 90000 to 93599 to purchase the Southern California Select Annual Passport. If you were planning on buying the Deluxe, Signature, or Signature Plus Annual Passport, then you don’t need to prove any type of residency as these passes are available to all Guests.

Be sure to compare the levels of discounts on dining and merchandise and blockout dates before deciding on your Annual Passport. Additionally, you might consider buying a pass that has Disney MaxPass included or opt to add Disney MaxPass to your pass for an additional fee. MaxPass will save you incredible amounts of time by allowing you to select FASTPASSES on your mobile device through the Disneyland app, so it is definitely a must have for any Annual Passholder.

I hope this helps clarify things for you. Have a magnificent time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
