My mother and I and my three daughters are going to WDW in Feb 2010-presidents week. How crowded does it get? What is the best hotel to stay in for the first time to WDW? My children are 10,8,5.

Hi, Barbara!  With five people, your accommodations options are limited to resorts that allow five people in a room.  You will find deluxe accommodations that allow that many people, and the Disney Vacation Club Villas properties have two bedroom villas that will comfortably accommodate five people.

If you are on a budget, you may want to consider Port Orleans Riverside.  Some of the rooms there have a trundle bed that fits a child under about the age of nine.  That gives you two double beds, plus the trundle, and that should work pretty well for you guys.

Another option is the All Star Music Family Suite.  Sleeping up to six people, this option gives you two full bathrooms and a small kitchenette - with a microwave and small refrigerator.  There is a separate bedroom with one bed in it, and then the living room has three fold outs.

Presidents weekend will be busy!  It's really the first school holiday for many kids since Christmas break, and many schools give the kids a four day weekend.  You won't see crowds like Christmas week, but it can get really busy.  Use Fast Pass where you can, and book your dining reservations in advance so you are not disappointed.

    Have a wonderful vacation!
