Hello I am a mother of 3 and was planning on going to the park by myself with the kids. I have 2 little ones and one 9 year old. I wanted to know if my 9 year old would be able to ride the rides by herself?

Hello, Marlene! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel and asking your question!

The Disneyland Resort is the perfect destination for kids of all ages so I know that you and your whole family are going to have a magnificent time. Your 9-year-old can indeed ride attractions by herself if both of you are comfortable with that situation. According to Park Rules, Guests age 7 and older may board an attraction on their own. Guests younger than 7 years old, must be accompanied by someone 14 years old or older. Keep in mind that there are also oodles of attractions that don't have height requirements which means your two younger children will be able to ride. Simply filter the Attractions page by "Any Height" to see the list of attractions available to your whole family.

If you plan on using Disney MaxPass during your visit, you can even select different FASTPASSES for your older daughter. So, you and the little ones can climb aboard "it's a small world" while the 9-year-old goes racing through the cosmos on Space Mountain. When you make your selection, you will simply select or deselect members of your FASTPASS party to make different selections for each person. Just make sure your daughter has her theme park ticket in-hand to scan at the FASTPASS queue entrance.

I hope your visit to the Disneyland Resort is full of magic and memories!
