My mother in law has issues getting around. How can I rent an electric wheel chair and can it go on the buses

    Hi Robin,

There are manual wheelchairs and ECVs available for rent at the Disney theme parks. However, this are available first-come, first-served, and they may not leave the parks.

It sounds like a rental from an independent agency might suit your needs better. There are MANY mobility equipment companies that service the Orlando theme park area. Two that are well recommended are buenavistascooters.com and walkermobility.com. They will pick up and deliver wheelchairs to your resort and you can use them anywhere on property.

All the Disney buses are handicapped accessible. You can roll a wheelchair or ECV right onto the bus.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help.
