Can my mother that is handicapped bring her own wheelchair and scooter

    Hi Brandi,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question!

Yes, your mother can absolutely use her own wheelchair or scooter during your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort. The only exception in the Walt Disney World Resort Park Rules is that neither her wheelchair nor her scooter are allowed to be pushing or towing a “trailer-like” object. The Rules also provide some restrictions regarding the number of wheels and size of "wheeled mobility devices" so please make sure that her scooter respects those requirements as well.

I hope my answer helps you plan a healthy and safe Walt Disney World Resort vacation for your family. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
